“Araqs-2” PC was established in 1996 by Artur Movsisyan in Armenia in a village of Gegharqunik Marz called Akunq. Since 2005 “Araqs-2” PC has been specialised in cheese production  with brands of Ecokat and Santolina. Ecokat presents a wide variety of cheese made with high quality, fresh milk.

Ecokat has brought a balance of innovation and tradition to the art of cheese making. Our own unique crafted cheeses cover a wide range of traditional regional recipes and are always made with natural ingredients and great attention to detail.

The brand is a leader in cheese production in the Armenian market and alongside with offering to consumers a wide range of variety, the company keep the quality of its products to the highest standards and as a result is highly valued by customers.

We offer fresh diary products to consumers around the world who place a significant value in healthy and safe food. Innovative technologies used in our production create new employment opportunities contributing to socio-economic development of the community and  the country. On our Dairies all products are produced under the highest possible food safety system and all dairies are accredited according to one or more quality and food safety standards. We have a comprehensive training schedule and make sure we’re inline with all the latest technologies.

If we unexpectedly find any breech, anywhere, you can be sure that we will respond immediately to report to the relevant food breech authorities, call back potentially affected products, find the cause and solve the problem.

There is no doubt that cheese is one of the most tasty, healthy, nutritious products. It has good taste properties, it is appetizing, easy to digest and thus has a beneficial effect on digestion. Apart from protein, no other food contains so much calcium as cheese. By the way, calcium which is very important to the human body is in the most pungent form in cheese because it is linked to protein and phosphorus.
